THE LISTENING POST
The Listening Post is our flagship methodology for understanding society.
It is a public meeting in which ordinary people are invited to share their experiences of society and listen to the experiences of others. The primary task is to reflect upon what is being said in order to develop greater understanding of society.
The first Listening Post was convened in London in 1980 and since then meetings have been held in over 35 different countries around the world. Our findings are published online via the OPUS website (see archives for historic reports) and in the OPUS journal, ‘Organisational and Social Dynamics’.
Why not join us at our next meeting?
